In recent years, nanotechnology has become widely popular in many fields, such as tissue engineering, drug delivery, biosensors, and environmental pollution control. Carbon-based nanomaterials have attracted special attention because of the unique way their carbon atoms are arranged, which gives them excellent physical, mechanical, and chemical properties.
These materials are especially valued because they work very well as adsorbents and can withstand high temperatures, making them useful in many different applications. This review focuses on various types of carbon-based nanomaterials, explains how they are made, and discusses how they are used to remove and manage environmental pollutants.
The growing interest in carbon-based nanomaterials is mainly due to their strong adsorption ability and high thermal stability, which allow them to perform well in different environmental conditions. In the future, these materials are expected to become environmentally friendly and low-cost solutions, offering promising opportunities for the development of sustainable technologies.
